Stepside bed cross sill, exactly like original. Heavy
gage steel part made is mounted across the frame under
the wood for support. The bolt holes in the cross sill
determine the placement of the bed strips and wood. The
bed strips and bed side angles are bolted to the cross
sill and the wood is bolted to the frame through the
cross sill by the bed-to-frame bolts. Cross sill is sold
with holes and includes brackets. Requires 3 per short
wheelbase & 5 per long wheelbase. Ships oversized I |

Stepside Bed Reinforcement Cross Sill |

Stepside bed reinforcement cross sill, like a cross
sill, these steel pieces are placed perpendicular to the
strips and wood for support. The difference from the
cross sill is that the reinforcement strips are shorter
in height and they are bolted to the bed strips and
angle strips only. Reinforcement strips
"reinforce" the bed, but they do not attach to
the frame. Bolt holes in the reinforcement strip
determine the placement of the bed strips and wood.
Requires 2 per short wheelbase & 2 per long

Stepside Bed Rear Cross Sill |

Stepside bed rear cross sill, exactly like original. The
rear cross sill is located at back of bed below the
tailgate. It connects the back of the bed together by
being bolted crosswise from one bed side to the other.
The rear cross sill has "brackets" welded in
place. The bed-to-frame bolt passes through these
brackets as it bolts from the wood to the frame. The
strips and wood sit on the ledge that has predrilled
holes for mounting. The rear cross sill protects the
edges of the wood boards. Rear cross sill includes
attachment holes for wiring clamps and all bolt holes.
Requires 1 per short wheelbase & 1 per long

and fenders are packaged as securely as possible but are
2 components that are very large and easily damaged.
These pieces are best shipped truck freight to receive
them 100% damage free which is what we recommend.
However we leave the shipping method choice to you, If
you do not specify Truck Freight delivery on these 2
types of items and Fed-Ex or UPS damages them you will
need to repair damages as damage claims will most likely
be denied by them due to their being a large sheet metal
part. |
